Privacy Policy — ImanQuest

This privacy policy applies to the ImanQuest mobile application ("App") and explains how we handle your information.

Data we collect

• Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and the name you provide. This is stored securely (via Supabase) to provide your account and sync your progress.
• Usage and progress: Your XP, level, completed missions, streaks, and read status (e.g. Quran, Hadith) are stored so you can use the app across devices when signed in.
• Device data: The App may use device features such as location (for prayer times and Qibla) and notifications (for reminders). We do not sell this data.

How we use your data

• To provide and personalize the App (e.g. dashboard, missions, progress).
• To send you optional notifications (e.g. prayer times, reminders) if you enable them.
• We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

Third-party services

• Supabase: We use Supabase for authentication and database storage. Their privacy practices apply to data processed by them: supabase.com/privacy.
• Expo / EAS: Build and update services may process project/app data in accordance with Expo's privacy policy.

Data retention and your rights

• You can delete your account or request deletion of your data by contacting us (see below). We will remove your account and associated data within a reasonable time.
• If you are in the EU/EEA or other regions with similar laws, you may have additional rights (access, correction, portability, objection). Contact us to exercise them.

Children

The App is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and we may notify you in the App or by email for significant changes.
